Scotland On Film - Around Scotland In Sixteen Images

A white building with an orange roof sits behind some rocks o
Pittenweem Harbour, Fife.

I’ve travelled a lot in Scotland—from the winding back roads near my home in Perthshire to the far reaches of the rugged north. And wherever I go, I’m usually lugging four cameras, too many lenses, and more rolls of film than I’ll ever need.

Film doesn’t just capture what’s there—it captures the unseen. It holds onto mood, atmosphere, the energy of a place. It doesn’t just show how it looked—it remembers how it felt.

Here are sixteen images from around Scotland. Different places, different light, different moments. Some wild, some quiet, some everyday. Many different views, many different vibes.

Which one speaks to you the most?
